2009 Champion and Ballantine's Brand Ambassador, Graeme McDowell talks exclusively to Ballantine's about who is Leaving an Impression in golf

Q.Which player has had the most stylish season and why?

A. I think Rory McIlroy has really made his mark on world golf this season.  He impressed the golfing world with his aggressive style of play early in the season and made his name in the U.S. when competing so well at the Accenture World Matchplay in Arizona in February.  His fearless swagger and unique image have made him a fans favorite everywhere he goes.

Q. You came really close to winning and played brilliantly as a team at The World Cup with Rory - but which other team did you admire in China in November and why?

A. I really thought the Italian Molinari brothers did extremely well.  Rory and I were obviously very disappointed to lose, but you have to hand it to them.  They overtook us on the back 9 on Sunday when the chips were down and, thus deserved to win.

Q. Is there a moment this season that stands out to you the most? (Either about your own game or something that happened to someone else)

A. It's got to be Tom Watson almost winning the Open.  To see him walking up the final hole on Sunday afternoon, in the lead and with the Turnberry crowd going wild sent shivers up my spine.  From a personal point of view, the World Cup with Rory was a real highlight even though we didn't win.  We will be back though!
